The fossilised remains of a giant sperm whale have been found by scientists, with the animal having measured some 17 metres in length and living 12 million years ago.
An intact, 3-metre long skull was found, representing the largest tetrapod bite ever found.

“It is thought the giant whale may have used its huge jaws to capture and kill other giant sea creatures from the time.”
