Flu cases are continuing to climb in New Zealand, especially in the North Island, but no serious cases have been reported this week.
So far, two deaths have been linked with swine flu this year.

“A survey by the Institute of Environmental Science and Research found about 30% of New Zealanders were immune to the virus.
“Swine flu emerged in early 2009 in the United States and Mexico, spreading around the world in six weeks.”
