Debate examines the challenges
The National Science Challenges were also the topic of a debate hosted and recorded by Radio New Zealand’s Our Changing World, released last week, featuring Dr Nicola Gaston (president of the New Zealand Association of Scientists) Prof Alexei Drummond (professor in computational biology at the University of Auckland ), and Prof Shaun Hendy (director of a new Centre of Research Excellence on complex systems, Te Punaha Matatini).
