A total of 117 research projects were granted $65.2 million in funds in last week’s Marsden Fund announcement.
An increase to the fund of $66 million over the next four years – announced by the Government in Budget 2016 – meant the number of grants was up from last year’s 92 funded projects.
The funds included 49 Fast-Start grants, awarded to early career researchers.
