Biochemist Warren Tate, from Otago University, has won the country’s top scientific award – the Rutherford Medal – at last night’s Research Honours Dinner.
Tate, who has been at Otago since 1968, is currently working with his team on a molecular which could help to treat Alzhemier’s, and is also researching chronic fatigue syndrome.
